[14.04.10]

Day Eight: Today was my brother's birthday. Stevie, age 23. I love my brother very much, even if we are just holiday siblings. Unfortunate truth.

Today was another day without excitement. 0800hrs - 1700hrs: day without excitement.
1715: Piano. I love piano so much. That talent is a HUGE gift from God, and I thank Him so much for it. When I look at how far I have come just in the last year (after the "fire under my tail"), I am very grateful. I have a lot of fun with it, and I hope it blesses others.

After piano, I met Scott and his excavating friend, Chris at Wendy's. We had a discussion on racism and domestic disputes - not what you think. Then the three of us drove out to Drain, so they could check out a site. This is when I took the picture. The more I look at it, the more I think it does not look like me. Oh well...it is me, so get over it.

After we left Drain, we took the "scenic route" through Yoncalla, and we got a nice view of the ranch Scott and his family used to live on. It sure is gorgeous out there. Then we dropped Chris off back in Wilbur, and we drove to my car. We had a nice talk and decided we wanted more talk, so I got out, and we drove to Shari's.

Oh Shari's. :)

We had more nice talk, as always, over coffee and tea. (The "nice talk" is "always", not coffee and tea.) Then we parted ways, and here I am.

Life is interesting, but it sure is a blasty blast.

I am looking forward to the future for so many reasons, wishing it would come sooner, but still not wanting to rush and miss any of the "now". I am very excited for Cousin to come back and visit. That is for sure. I have so many things to be thankful for, and I am.
Thank You, Jesus.

Here's hoping...
"[Love] bears all things, hopes all things, believes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:7-8a
