Day Two: Oh my, today was a riot. Heute was "One Day Without Shoes" to raise awareness of the importance of shoes and of countries where many cannot afford shoes. It was started by Toms Shoes which is an amaaazing company. Toms Shoes has a One for One deal. For every pair of Toms Shoes purchased, they take a pair to kids that cannot afford shoes. They range anywhere from $40 and up. You should look into purchasing a pair. :)

So I went all day without shoes, and as you can see by the picture, I had a good experience. My first "outing" was to my acting class. No big deal. After class, however, my BFF Sean and I went on a little adventure. It started out just to take a picture of this tree that had heart-shaped mistletoe, but man, "that escalated fast! I mean...it got really out of control." Anyhow, we're walking around this hill and find a path on the other side of UCC that leads to a little bridge, so of course we had to check it out. We hiked way out in this field, up the hill, way up behind UCC and back around, and we are both barefoot, hiking through the mud and it's Roseburg, so we "get all four seasons in one day". It was wild, but well worth it!
But back to the picture, I have no idea when or how I started bleeding; I hadn't noticed a thing. "I don't even...feel pain..." "Wait, wait! I've gotta test this theory!"
More quotes from the day:
"No, I'm getting your whole half!"
"I smell mint...Oh I'm laying in mint!"
"De Groat..."
Oh goodness, I KNOW there are more; there is always more, but I cannot seem to remember.
Also, I will be posting the rest of the pictures on my flickr account at www.flickr.com/photos/luschiousphotography/ early tomorrow, and I will also be putting them on my facebook. :)
Here's hoping...
"[Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
1 Corinthians 13:7-8a
